Here are just a few of the unsolicited comments our customers have take the time to send us:

"...For installation we ordered and followed "Sailor's Quick-Start Guide to Sailmail / Airmail / WinLink 2000 from DockSide Radio in Punta Gorda, Florida. We also purchased a used Pactor modem posted on this site. DSR was easy to contact and quick to get a reply.

I just wish to let you know that the Pactor III for the Icom 710 marine which I ordered from you arrived in time for my wife to bring to us in Thailand. It all worked fine right out of the box as the directions suggested. It certainly makes it nice to get something that works in such a straight forward manner. It would have taken me weeks using raw cables etc.

Best wishes,
Dana

Gary,
We received everything and now have all systems functioning. (except for licenses to clear from the FCC, but that should be done in the next day or so). Thank you so much for everything. The attention to detail in all that was sent made for an extremely easy install (except for passing the cables which you could not have done anything about!). I especially appreciated the little notes in every package, (Frank is not usually a fan of manuals).

We will sing your praises in ports far and wide.

 Hey Gary,
Just got back from talking to Jake.  He is anxiously waiting for his modem to show up.  You made a very happy customer.  Thanks for taking good care of him.

 Gary,

Just a quick note of thanks in helping me get my SSB connected with the Pactor II this morning. I appreciate the time you spent with me. Having messed with this I am convinced that either the wire, or jack inside the SSB is the culprit.

I will limp on to Maine with the shaky connection but on arrival give you a call and have you send a serial cable, which should take of the problem.

Thanks again.

Gary,

I wanted to thank you for all your help last week on the phone (while you were at the airport), as you can see I have Sailmail and our Pactor III up and running.  I even got the computer and the modem to keep talking to each other so long as I use the usb cable.  I am still working on figuring out why they don't want to talk thru the bluetooth connection.  I've been having a lot of fun figuring out the catalog sheets, weather faxes, and Sail blogs.  We have left the US and are currently in the Abacos, Bahamas.  While here I am going to sign up to YOTREPS so that our friends and family can track our progress.  Anyway, your book has been very helpful, and I have been singing your praises from Miami to Green Turtle Cay!

Take care, and thank you again!

(We spoke this morning about reprogramming the Icom m802 SSB radio.)
I just want to say your book about SSB radios came this afternoon, and I've enjoyed it a great deal.  It's very informative; just the information I need.  I feel like I'm becoming a real SSB pro!

Thanks a lot.
