DockSide Radio (DSR) Warranty and Return's Policy


DockSide Radio is here to help you in the unlikely event your modem or SSB radio should happen to fail. Icom Radios and Pactor Modems are covered by manufacturers’ warranties, the terms of which are spelled out in the manufacturers warranty statement that accompanied your product. If your Icom SSB or SCS Pactor Modem should fail, do not return your product to DockSide Radio  unless DockSide Radio specifically asks in writing for you to do so. Contact DockSide Radio by telephone (941.661.4498), or e-mail ([email protected]) before you contact the manufacturer . DockSide Radio will help you verify if the product itself has failed, or if there are other causes and remedies for the difficulty. If it’s determined that the modem or SSB has indeed failed, DockSide Radio will work with you and the manufacturer to help ensure that the problem is resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.

There are no other express warranties or conditions respecting the equipment other than those specified in the manufacturers warranty. Implied warranties, if any, are limited to the duration of the express warranty provided herein. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you.


In no event shall DockSide Radio or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates be liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business,  or profits. Some localities do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.


Your satisfaction is most important to us. We want you to be a satisfied customer, and we need your help to maintain our competitive prices and on-hand inventory.

Fourteen(14) Calendar-Day Return Policy:   Subject to the conditions cited below, if within fourteen(14) calendar days of receiving your shipment you are not entirely satisfied, you may return your item(s) for a refund of the invoiced amount less shipping charges, PayPal discount fee if applicable, and a 15%  restocking fee* to cover testing, handling, and repackaging the returned product.

Returned product must be in resalable condition.  Resalable condition means that in addition to the product(s) themselves, the original product carton, all packaging materials, slip-sheets, warranty statements, manuals, software, and any other ancillary items included with the original product must be returned in like-new condition

How to Return an Item:

  1. Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number by calling DockSide Radio at 941.661.4498. Any shipment returned without an RMA may be refused.

  2. Repack the product in the original product carton with all original packaging, enclosures, parts, and accessories.

  3. Place the repacked product inside an outside box suitable for shipping (double boxing).

  4. Write the RMA number clearly and conspicuously on the outside of the package.
  5. Ship it to us pre-paid (we do not accept collect shipments), via UPS ,  Federal Express, or USPS Priority mail, with the appropriate insurance. Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable
* Restocking fee may be waived at the discretion of DockSide Radio
